yellow baptisia (baptisia tinctoria) - a nitrogen fixing perennial also known as wild indigo. grows up to 2’tall. an upright plant with yellow flowers in the fabacaea family. both blue & yellow baptisia plants were traditional medicinal plants across turtle island but have fallen out of favor. hardiness zone - 4-9
